Most women and teens with PCOS have been prescribed birth control pills and synthetic hormones of other forms. They have been advised that the pills will help to regulate their hormones. However, birth control pills are also one of the most controversial and confusing topics in the PCOS community due to their possible side effects and long-term health and fertility implications. This show will cover many sides of the birth control debate.

Edward Ramirez, MD, FACOG is a Board Certified specialist at the Fertility and Gynecology Center's Monterey Bay IVF Program. He was recently featured on WE Network's The Fertility Chase. He has been providing specialized infertility and gynecology care for the past two decades.
