Meet Jennifer, Naomi, and Rishawna from the PCOS Challenge television show as they speak about their experiences as women with PCOS.

Jennifer and her husband, Mark, have been trying to conceive for a while, and even had failed medical interventions. After dealing with much disappointment, Jennifer is gearing up for the next step – in vitro fertilization. She has been employing lifestyle modifications and wants to learn all that she can about how to restore her body’s health. Her overall goal for the PCOS Challenge is to prepare her body for a healthy pregnancy.
Naomi is a stay-at-home mother of three children. Her youngest is under a year old, and she is still dealing with the effects of pregnancy on her body. Weight gain and depression and anxiety are her biggest struggles with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. Her long term fear with PCOS is developing type 2 diabetes, and is highly motivated to work hard, especially with her doctor recently telling her that her glucose numbers qualifying her to be diabetic. She works out regularly, but her weight loss has plateaued and she is looking for ways to get back on track.
Rishawna is a graphic designer. The PCOS symptoms with biggest impact on her are hirsutism and weight gain which can sometimes severely affect her self-esteem and body image. She has long term concern about her overall health, but would also like to learn how to deal with the physical symptoms of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. Rishawna has spent a lot of money and have exhausted her funds in the pursuit of relief from PCOS symptoms, but to no avail. Her PCOS Challenge goal is to lose weight and feel healthier and better about herself.
